Melissa Kassab a sillonné les routes, seule ou accompagnée et y a concocté un imaginaire précis mais toujours frais et inattendu. Folk du bitume et des grands espaces, son univers s'est précisé au fil d'une centaine de dates en Europe et aux US. Elle revient de voyage avec une oeuvre complexe et personnelle – Rodeo – qui réunit ami(e)s et (ex)amours, enregistrements lo-fi et studio, compositions et reprises. Après DOG en vinyle en 2017, Rodeo sort en K7, support qu'elle a redécouvert dans son mayen*, sans électricité, où seul un lecteur de cassette à piles accompagnait sa solitude.
