Comme dans un monde parfait, comme dans une époque formidable, le disque de Laurent C a été fait en famille. Entre amis. La voisine du deuxième à la voix, son fils à la batterie, le chien du quartier au saxophone et le collègue de local à la guitare.

Minutieusement collectées, ces chansons racontent la vie, les dérives, les errances, les regrets. A la mode France/Punk 80s. Comme une ballade dans les archives de l'INA avec les Lolitas, Téléphone ou Jacno dans le walk-man.

Mais aucune posture ici. Il ne s'agit pas d'une imitation. Il faut dire que Laurent a sorti son premier 45 tours en 1983. Et qu'à l'époque des stylos bics et des boîtes à rythme il enregistrait ou produisait déjà de la cold-wave, du punk ou de la musique tout simplement inclassable.
