On les croirait tous découpés dans un même et immense drap, dont ils se sont fait des tshirt cradeaux. Pieds nus avec des petits bracelets autour de la cheville. Cheveux gras et charme du laisser-aller, c’est une bande. On ne sait jamais à combien ils vont débarquer. Capables de compter jusqu’à sept, comme des têtes de l’hydre, ou parfois soudés comme un seul homme en forme de Gollum génial, La Bande à Joe marque pas mal de points dans la vie comme sur les scènes. Et la rumeur a déjà courue, comme dans les chariots de feu! Ils revisitent leurs propres géométries en se surprenant toujours de ce qu’ils sont capables de faire. Un peu arty certes, mais forts pour proposer la fête sincère sur scène, comme à l’époque du Kraut Rock ! Leur son nous reverbe la tête et indique leurs belles influences 60’s avec la modestie d’un insecte. Alors qui est ce Joe ? Chacun à sa manière doit trouver sa réponse. Un album qui va débouler pour nous le prouver. Classe américaine avec les textes en Français, nonchalant mais sérieux, différents mais rassurants.
